Wicomico County has many options for the children. If your kids like to play sports, check out Crown Sports Center, Wicomico County Parks & Rec, Tom Brown’s Rookie League, and Stratosphere Trampoline Park. If your kids just have a lot of energy and you want to get out of the house, go to Coco’s Fun House, Salisbury Zoo & Ben’s Red Swings, or Pemberton Historic Park for the wonderful trails along the Wicomico River. Don’t forget to visit the library downtown and the Art Institute & Gallery.

There are a few annual festivals in the area. Pork in the Park, along with the Hebron Carnival and Sharptown Carnival. The Apple Blossom Festival, Spring Fest in Ocean City and the Apple Scrapple Festival are some other popular events in the area. We cannot forget the infamous Pumpkin Chunkin Competition that is fun for kids of all ages.
